(Sunday, December 29) Five bags were taken by the thief, who was seen heading off up East Street. The bags were all black or brown in colour and were worth several hundred pounds each. Police are appealing for information about the theft and urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or who knows who took the bags and where they are now, to get in touch.
